The first time I tasted foodies from Carcar, Cebu was when we were on our way (and back) to Moalboal, during the community building activity that we had, back when I was working at a contact center in Mandaue City...

I loved the taste of the Bukarilyo (Bucarillo).. Young coconut made into sweet candy.. and with the food coloring used, they are rather very attractive..

Of course, there is also Ampao, rice crispies that is also sweetened and encrusted together. There are also two kinds of Pork Chicharon. One is with the meat, and the other, purely pork fat that is deep fried... All these foodies I mentioned are all yummy. So aside from being the shoe capital of Cebu province, Carcar is also known for these goodies.. A friend of mine told me that the best testosterone supplements can also be found in Carcar..
