Davao Food Appreciation Tour (DFAT) 2011

I am so excited as DFAT 2011 is drawing near. I have never been to Davao City so this tour will somehow give me a glimpse of the city, as well as taste their food, as prepared by DFAT 2011 organizers and sponsors... So expect food entries on this blog, as per food place we shall visit.. In the mean time, below is our itinerary.. I am not sure if there will be changes or additions but so far, this is what was given.. I can't wait!

May 12
7:30 pm Pre-event dinner at Yellow Fin Seafood and Restaurant

May 13
11:30 am Pick up from Hotels
12 nn Lunch at Trellis n Vines
3 pm Snacks and Meet-up with Local Bloggers at Mam Bebs Bakeshop
7 pm Dinner with San Miguel Brewery, venue TBA
9 pm Visit to a local fruit stand for tasting of Durian and other fruits


May 14
6 am Pick Up from Hotels
7 am Departure for Samal Island
8 am Breakfast at Samal Island
10 am Departure for Davao City
11:30 Pick up from Hotels
12 nn Lunch at Ranchero
2 pm Zipline
5 pm Snacks at Crepelato
8 pm Dinner and Dessert Buffet at Lachi


May 15
6:30 am Pick Up from Hotels
7 am Departure for Malagos Garden Resort
9:30 am Amazing Bird Show
12 nn Lunch
1 pm Departure for Philippine Eagle Center
4 pm Return to Downtown
6:30 pm Pick up from Hotels
7 pm Dinner at Don Beppe Italian Restaurant

May 16
6:30 am Pick Up from Hotels
7 am Departure for Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur
12 nn Lunch with the Bagobo Tribe
1 pm Return to Davao City
2 pm Snacks at Tiny Kitchen
7 pm Dinner at Wings and Dips
9 pm Coffee and Dessert at Cafe Demitasse

May 17
10 am Pick up from Hotels
10:30 am Brunch at Pixie's Sinugba
