Dessert All You Can!

>> Thursday, November 24, 2011

My daughter and I always go for cakes, cupcakes, breads, cookies, bars, and everything else that's sinfully addicting. But it bears a much heavier load on me because daughter seems to like the idea of seeing cakes, cupcakes, breads, cookies, bars, and everything dandy, but would only taste some and leave everything for me to finish-- hahaha.. Of course, if she likes something, she will finish her share. I have seen her eyes twinkle with a really colorful and yummy treat. To a six year old, anything colorful is indeed good looking. But once the taste is bad, it's a goner.

Anyway, I showed Lili the ticket for the Dessert All You Can, an event on December 3, 2011 where the abundance of cakes, cupcakes, breads, cookies, bars, coffee, tea, juice shall grace thy presence. And she asked if her favorite desserts shall be served. Since it's Dessert All You Can, anything is possible, that's what I told her. Oh, and I showed her the cakes that Monster Kitchen’s Fundamentals in Baking and Pastry Arts Batch03 have made. They are after all the people who shall prepare the desserts for this event. It shall be held at  Thai Me Up Restaurant on Capistrano-Mabini Sts. If you guys are also looking into desserts, be there from 2:30-7:00pm, and buy your tickets before you plunge in, it's just P 250 for the indulgence of a lifetime..

Oh and, do not be conscious of the security cameras, your every bite won't be recorded thereat, lol..

Baked Porky Popps

My sister introduced a new junkfood-- hahaha.. It's actually the chicharon for junkfood eaters. Not that Chicharon itself is a good food to be precise, but just imagine, pork fat being squeezed from the fat itself-- grease or not, it's still fat and well, too much is unhealthy. But for food lovers like me, chicharon is okay, for as long as you get the kind from SLERS, or those from Monterey Tomas Saco (not a paid post okay, lol..), and NOT too much in just one sitting. Betteryet, share it! Company always delights in food--- agree?

Anyway, Baked Porky Popps is actually good for my tastebuds. I specially like the one in red packet. And it's also affordable. You can buy it from groceries everywhere. When we bought all four packets, I thought that the Retail POS System at the grocery was broken that it showed a very small amount, but then we realized it was really that affordable.
