Dinner by Candlelight

>> Thursday, June 3, 2010

So what if the ampoule got busted and busted all the others when it got busted, we enjoyed a sumptuous dinner by candlelight anyway.. Oh.. ampoule, that's french for light-bulb. Just got carried away here. My friend Luisa is learning French for her fiance's arrival and well, she was reading and saying French words out loud, and ampoules are no exemption, especially with the busted bulb and the candlelight dinner, lol.. She even added that I should be using ampoule a led here at the Orange house. Well, it's not me who buys the bulbs, I get them from my father's from time to time, as my father buys by bulk.

Anyway, having a light bulb or no light bulb at all, is not that important when it comes to bonding. When you eat with friends and family, regardless of the place and the situation, it's the company that  makes it  all intimate for bonding. But then again, if we analyze and look at it closely, lighting makes a great deal of difference. So whether lighting is composed of light tone light bulbs or candlelight or even those glaring mall lights, it makes all the difference. Especially when you take pictures to preserve the moment..

Getting Ready for a Simple Feast

>> Wednesday, June 2, 2010

Are you one of those people who loves entertaining friends and serving lunches or dinners make you happy to entertain them all the more? Well, I am. My friends would come by and we'd have a bake and eat party or a cook and eat get together. It's fun, entertaining and educational. But somehow, the said activity takes a toll at my Dining Furniture. See, my Dining Room Furniture is also used for preparing food and not just for dining in them. We'd simply put aside the Dining Chairs for more space, and put them back when we are about done with preparation and set the table for eating. I always wish I have a bigger kitchen and a bigger island or counter to prepare food in groups. What I really appreciate about it though, is the fact that we still get to enjoy bonding moments regardless of the space. And technically save on space, energy and time as well.

I always wish I have a bigger kitchen and a bigger island or counter to prepare food in groups. But then, that would probably when I would move in our own home, Lili and I. In the meantime, I will enjoy every moment spent in my kitchen as well as in the dining area.
