Businessminded Carmz

>> Friday, June 4, 2010

I had been cooking for friends and family who would like to sample my foodies, but ever since Carmz came into my life, she didn't only encourage me to cook more but to make a business out of it. As Lili's nanny, I find that she is a good catch after all, she knows so many things. And the business she proposed isn't only for me but for her and her children as well. She is a very good cook and can sustain all the business in the kitchen as well as in managing a place to dine, like a restaurant or a diner as she had worked in such environment previously. So when I chanced upon the website that featured Wasserstrom restaurant supplies, I thought of going for Carmz' suggestion. It would not be much of a burden to find every restaurant equipment as they are available online or even offline.

For someone to operate a restaurant, getting the best restaurant supply that professional chefs would appreciate is not at all a problem. More so, they can be treated as an investment. Every professional cookware is much like gold. Even chain restaurants take chain restaurant supplies as gold and diamonds that bring them the moolah.

So I think Carmz is right.. Maybe we should really go for it this time..

How to Make Your Own Krispy Kreme Doughnut

>> Thursday, June 3, 2010

Well, this is actually an account of how we, the eight Blog4reviews bloggers from Visayas and Mindanao, made our own Krispy Kreme Doughnut. On the left is Arvin, Krispy Kreme Ayala Branch's very accommodating staff.  Notice the chocolate dipper and the doughnuts in the background? Well, those were our necessary materials to create our masterpiece. To help us save time, since after the fun activity we'll be at the NAIA for our respective flights, they have provided us with the readily available original glazed doughnuts.
Okay, so before we did anything, we had to listen to Arvin for instructions, and made sure that our photograpers were ready to document our every action, lol..
If something is funny, laugh. It will be much easier when it's already time to seriously make the doughnut, lol.

So this is what each one of us had to do:

1. Dip the doughnut in the chocolate dipper while our fans were looking from the glass window, lol..
see my expert right hand do the tricky dipping technique, lol..
 2. Place the dipped doughnut in a plate or saucer, and don't forget to pose for the paparazzi, lol..

looking at this doughnut is already drool-raving, but of course, it is not done yet so we move to the next step.

3. Get some sprinkles from the sprinkles bag and sprinkle them over the daughtnut.

4. Show off your masterpiece for a photo-op, lol..
5. Don't forget to pose with instructor and fellow blogger for souvenir..
6. Order your drink from the counter.,.
7. Thank Krispy Kreme Ayala for the fun activity, and of course, for giving  each of us a box of a dozen Krispy Kreme Doughnuts to take home..

And oh, before I end this post, thanks Clarence of  Cebu, or Dahong Laya and Junelle of Ilo-ilo of  Intiendes, for being my personal paparazzis for this activity..
