New Flavors of French Fries at Jollibee

My sister and I went to buy a few postcards for post-crossing and before dropping them off at the city post office, we went to Jollibee for me to write the addresses and my messages on each post card.. Since we stayed there, we ordered the new flavors of french fries, 4 Cheeses and Sour Cream along with the regular value meal..

If you order it alone, it will cost you P 56, and you do not get any drinks with that, but with the value meal, you simply add P 21 to change the fries to any of the two flavors..

 My sister chose the 4 Cheeses french fries... and I chose the sour Cream..

That's quite a savings if you change your fries in your value meal. You do not need to get payday loans online just to afford it.. But of course, if you plan to buy the two for an entire village, then it's your choice to get payday loans online, hehehe... 

We enjoyed both flavors. But then, because we still had lots of errands to do, we simply bagged the french fries and took them home, where the kids, Lili, Ira and River, enjoyed the 4 Cheeses french fries rather than the Sour Cream french fries.. Now, I am thinking that payday loans online or no payday loans, whether you have lots of money or just a meager resource, you can still enjoy these foodies at Jollibee..

I also wanted to try the newest Waffle Cone Twirl ice cream, but we were not in the mood to do so.. We headed on to the post office, bought the stamps, attached them unto the post cards and interviewed the post office staff regarding their set up after the fire.. For those who do not know yet, the post office still exists but they are now situated at the back of the old building after it was eaten by the post office fire incident.. I wanted to take a photo but decided not to.. We headed on to Gaisano Mall, and there, we enjoyed our favorite Orbitz pearl shakes. We bought the Chocolate Mousse and Belgian Chocolate at 12 Oz each. It was then I thought that the new flavors of Jollibee fries could best partner the cold treats.. I could have opened my bag for the take out, but decided not to.. Had I done that, the kids would not have tried them when we  arrived home..

Alternative to Rice...

My father had been very cautious of what he eats ever since the mild stroke he had years ago.. Yes, he has so many  pills and tablets to swallow per schedule everyday, but he does not rely on them. He keeps a balance with his diet and exercise.

In case you want to go on a diet, but would like to have NO carbohydrates, but proteins, then eat only proteins. But if you wish to cut on the amount of carbohydrates, and not totally scrap it off your diet plan, then simply find alternatives. My father had been advised by his nutrition consultant, parallel to the doctor's orders, that he eat sweet potato instead of rice. Sweet potato is rich in vitamins and carbohydrates but has less starch, so it will be less of a burden for him and his condition.. In the same manner as eating rice, he can actually still eat proteins with them. 

The above photo is my plate by the way, and not my dad's. Everyday in the house, we have sweet potato at every meal because of my father, so yesterday, I wanted to try his diet too. It felt funny for me, but I think it will be tolerable once I get used to it..

Food is just like taking pain relievers. Once you know that the pain reliever you use is not good, you ask the doctor to prescribe alternatives and voila! You have an alternative that shall work around your problem without the No Nos.. sometimes too, when you need it badly but do not have the luxury of time to go to the pharmacy, there is again an alternative. 

So instead of rice, sweet potato is the alternative.. There were also times that plantain is used. Especially when they are in season for they are cheaper..
