Poor Gator :-(

>> Saturday, August 2, 2014

I saw this video on you tube and I wonder how they caught the gator.. Hmm.. My sister and I were in a Crocodile shop/farm in Singapore in 2010 and they have a tannery just right behind it but we never saw how the process of removing the hide was done..

After seeing this video, I feel pity for the animal.. tsk.. On the other hand, I wonder how this gator would taste when cooked.. hmmm..

Piaya in MOGCHS

I went to our school coop which is located inside our canteen the other day and I was amazed to see a stall making freshly toasted Piaya.

Piaya is a treat my familly enjoys, especially that of Bongbong's, from Bacolod. We also love the ones from Cebu.

I am particularly amazed that this Piaya they are selling cost only P 1.00 a piece at our canteen.. Oh well, that is good because the kids in our school could barely afford a snack during recess. I got to taste a little, and it tasted good. For the price of a peso, it's a good buy for the kids. The bean filling is yummy and not too sweet.
