Minced Meat and Bamboo Shoots

Bamboo shoots are a staple in our household. We love the fact that it's more protein than carbohydrates compared to noodles. And this is very easy to prepare. 


Simply saute the spices with the minced meat, and add the bamboo shoots.. that's it.

Egg Salad Sandwich Spread


What's for snacks? That is the question repeatedly asked everyday this summer, lol.. And as a mom, the challenge is to bring out what's good, healthy and yummy for the kids. 


Today we decided to have Egg Salad Sandwich, and to make the spread, we simply have to make the Egg Salad, just the way we like it.. Of course everything starts with the eggs boiled, peeled and mashed.. 


Add your favorite Lady's Choice spread, or ordinary mayonnaise will do. 


Mix well.. 


And when you are very sure you have mixed it all, add some salt, and some pepper if you wish. If also want to add chopped onions, you may do so at this point. But for us, we didn't.. 


Because kids are the priority for this recipe, we added a little condensed milk.. 


When done, all you can do is look at the spread, and imagine it on top or in between your favorite bread slices.. 


You can also eat it as it is..
