When you are a teacher from Dep Ed., you tend to be resourceful when it comes to extra income. True the salary of public school teachers have already increased, but it is still not enough to meet the family's needs. At the school that I am teaching, a lot of my co-teachers have sidelines from selling Longanisa to Life Plans to vegetables and fruits to Corning ware to Tupperware and even Lingerie. One of my co-teachers even make her own cold press juices and line of bags and peanuts. And another co-teacher sells Peanut Butter..  

To show support, I usually buy whatever they sell. And this peanut butter is quite good. Not too sweet and not oily. It is also very affordable..

Onion Rings

So I am feeling under the weather, but I opted to get up and make something while I am still feeling better than last night. My medication's up until three hours after so I think i should still be okay and move, to sweat out fever and flu. 

Last week, I bought a huge Onion but was not able to do anything about it because I was really busy. So today, I decided to make Onion Rings.. 

Peeled the Onion, sliced and removed each from its enclave. Prepared the flour with ground Pepper, Paprika, Cinnamon, Lemon powder, salt and all other ingredients.. 

I also prepared 3 eggs, whisked it with salt and pepper and my batter is ready.. 

Simply dip each slice of onion in the whisked eggs and unto the flour mixture, then to the eggs again and to the flour again.. twice or thrice should be good, before putting each of them to the heated oil. 

Do not over cook or they will burn.. 

And the finished product is to die for.. Prepared the dressing of mayo and ketchup, and ohhlala.. Yumminess to the Nth level! Burp!
