Lunch Before Review

My sister and I are having an every Saturday review before taking the IELTS. Today is our first day and we were informed that classes start in the afternoon yet. So since we have an hour and a half to wait, we opted to have an early lunch at the nearest fastfood. 


Desserts were served first before our food came.. hahahaha.. 


And still keeping a happy disposition, we could still smile because it's still thirty minutes early to lunch.. But if it were late, I am sure we both would be grumpy due to hunger, hehehehe.. or maybe not..

French Macarons by Chef Mon

These French Macarons are to die for.. This is one of the specialties of Chef Mon Cardenas, the same one where we ordered Tatay's Opera Cake from his birthday last year. Anyway, every time French macarons are mentioned, people tend to think of Macaroons. To define, French Macarons are sweet meringue-based confection made from egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food coloring, while Macaroons are typically made from Almonds or coconuts such as the common Cococnut Macaroons that we Pinoys love so much. But there are actually other kinds, and those, like the French Macaron, is not so common.. 


Anyway, I got these two boxes because a little bird told me the little me wanted some.. And yes, they were a hit.. She specifically like the Pepermint ones with Choco filling..
