Jehovah Jireh

>> Tuesday, October 23, 2012

When I first heard the name, I thought we were going to a religious place, where we shall be made to worship Jehovah. When we reached the place at noon, people were lining up and we were literally behind the very long line. So why were people lining up? They went there to eat..

Our department had lunch there today, in between our training. And the images of food you see here are the ones we were served..
The Barbecue was delicious as well as the Bicol Express below..
I do not know what this one is because I was not able to taste this, but I think my colleagues liked this dish..
Of course, the Sinugba was yummy too..
My colleague loved this seaweed dish..
And of course, the Kinilaw that's to die for..

It was my first time to eat there, and I think I am going back for more..

Candies for Halloween

In a few days it's gonna be Halloween. Kids and kids at heart will be marching on the streets with their Halloween costumes and their trick or treat baskets, as they fill them to the brim, from one house to the other. I am sure busy people will be ordering some candies and chocolates from online candy stores so they will have enough to give to kids who will drop by their place for trick or treat.

On the other hand, I know of someone, a dentist, who, instead of giving kids chocolates and candies, hand kids floss and toothbrush. I think that is impeccable. After all the candies and the chocolates, kids do need to have toothbrushes to use and floss to make sure nothing will stick in between their teeth.

But if you ask me, I prefer French Macaroons for trick or treat goodies, lol..
