Not a Good Cook..

>> Thursday, September 15, 2011

Someone cooked this really delicious pan fried milkfish.. Just right on the taste. But not with presentation, I guess..
Well, I am no critic. But I do know a great possibility when its window is right before me. Cosmetology school is one of her dreams, but her parents didn't want her to go through that as they feel she has more talent and skill than just make someone else look pretty. Well, I think they are wrong. She is a child with so much skill and talent, but would have benefited more if she was given the opportunity. They should have sent her to Regency Beauty Institute, if they really want what's best for her.. Imagine a girl who graduated with high honors in all levels of her education ended up as a cook. Yes she likes to cook too, but her heart is not in it..

Maybe if she was enrolled at Regency Beauty Institute, she would have been all over the US on runway shows, or maybe owns her own salon-- ah.. the possibilities are endless for graduates a beauty institute.. they were after all trained so well, the world wants them even before graduation..

Life is Like HUMBA!

Life is hard. For many people. But for me, it is not. I say, Life is Challenging.. That is a fact. If I say hard, it means, I am not doing anything to fight the many ups and downs. If I say Life is hard, it means, it is not fun at all, and it is not at all worth living.. Perhaps I am just optimistic about it, regardless of what experiences I go through in life. It is NOT hard, rather, a series of events that make us better persons in the end. That is my food for thought.. It just like signing for life insurance guaranteed issue in five years.
But hey you guys, I have a foodie definition of life.. Life is Like HUMBA!

To some people it is not good because of the fat, and the cholesterol simply overwhelms them. To some, no matter how shaky the meat, or the fat for that matter, it is good. While to others, it depends on what part of the pig you chose to make HUMBA with.. After all, everything is a choice, right? If you choose well, then you will get perfect results regardless of the experience, good or bad..

Pork Chop Humba: Not the typical pork cut for HUMBA, but it truly makes the dish more exciting.. Well, according to me anyway..
Typical Humba cut is that which is the same as the Pork Adobo cut. But for me, the best HUMBA is actually that of pork leg.. Again, it's just me. You can have your own ideas on this food.

So you see their semblance? Life and Humba? I am sure you do now.. hehehe
