Hmm.. What Do You Think?

>> Wednesday, August 24, 2011

Yesterday we attended a media gathering invitation from Geiser Maclang and the Philippine Franchise Association. And I was reminded of the fact that years ago, after graduating from college, Convention Services/Events Staff Jobs were the ones I really wanted to do. Why? I like organizing and meeting with people. Two, I love to talk and talk and talk and make good use of my artistic skills and talents.. But then, at the turn of life's events, I found something better and richer that my talents can be put to good use anytime I want..  No organizing stuff for me now, but I do organize treats for my Lili and sister from time to time, as long as the budget is fine. But lately, it's kinda tight so now, I think it's really a halt!
In the mean time, we do enjoy small treats at home that we create.. That is after all another venue to showcase talent, lol..

Prevention is always better than cure

An Actos lawsuit is far from what I am expecting right now. Mainly because I don't use any drug or diabetes medication. Actos, if you are not familiar with the name, is an oral diabetes medicine. It has been found and such findings has been shown by recent studies, to lead to serious injuries and complications like heart attacks, heart failure, and an increased risk of bladder cancer. All these can be reasons for an Actos Lawsuit. Pioglitazone, the chemical name for Actos, had been sold under the trade names Actos, ActoplusMet, Competact and Duetact. And unknown to many, the chemical components of such drug can cause the ill effects mentioned above..

Lesson learned: Always check before buying any drug or medication. Prevention is always better than cure..
