White Humba

>> Tuesday, October 26, 2010

I am always in for experimentation as well as creating things. Yesterday was my father's birthday and I cooked WHITE HUMBA. Hmm. You must be thinking I am crazy for doing so. Or for calling it so.But here's a secret, I didn't use vinegar and soy sauce in this recipe. Instead, I substituted vinegar with pineapple juice and calamansi, while salt replaced soy-sauce.. Then I doubled the amount of garlic, onions and bell pepper..

And believe me, it was oh so yummy.

ChocoPeanut Butter Sandwich

>> Saturday, October 23, 2010

The marriage of flavors that kids love so much.. Yummy...
To achieve such delicious treat, you must spread chocolate spread on one slice of bread, and peanut butter on the other. Have them kiss, and voila.. A perfect match..
For this sandwich, we used Goya Choco Spread, Germany's pride. The choco spread alone is yummy enough..
 See how creamy this is..
And of course, home made peanut butter, from Kauswagan, Lanao..
Any other peanut butter match you wanna try?
