Looking for a New Digital Camera

>> Friday, August 6, 2010

These past few days, I have been busy going through digital camera reviews because I am planning to buy a new digicam for my blogging needs. The old one is parked at Kodak Service Center and is utterly useless. Because if I will have it fixed, it will be much more expensive than buying a new one. These days, I use the handy dandy phone of my mom's Canon. When you are a blogger, a digital camera is indeed very useful and a necessity. But being a responsible parent, what I fancy or need will have to wait until my daughter's needs are met. I am not like all those irresponsible fathers who would buy all thing expensive yet, fail to provide even a can of milk for his child.

Anyway, take a look at my photos taken from my phone:

Not bad isn't it? It's still okay, but with a really good camera, I am sure it would have been a really good take..

My photos still bring out the best in my featured food.. Don't you think so?

Hmm Yummy!!! Hehehe..

And that's my little princess taking her own photo using my phone only.. If I have the digicam below, I am sure she'd be more excited for she loves Pink so much..

or this..

Ahh.. soon..

Good Buy, Worst Buy, Best Buy..

>> Thursday, August 5, 2010

Guys, yesterday after Pinky's plane finally flew for Manila and Singapore, I really felt famished. Well, I did not take my lunch because of some CEPALCO thing that I was able to resolve this morning. So I went straight to class at BSU and on my way, I always pass by the canteen. Yesterday, I really had to stop and buy something. And I found this SIOMAI.

I bought 4 pieces for only P 20 because that was sold P 5 a piece. And guess what? I find that that was by far the Best Buy from that canteen. It made me full and ready to start my night at school.. After classes, my aunt and I met at her office and we had dinner together. My aunt finished half a cup of rice while  I finished 1 and a half rice with the following viand:

That's the Chicken curry that costs P 40.00.. If I am to put it, it's just a small piece of drumstick chopped.. So small the portion, but the taste was just right.
Above is the Pork Halang-halang at P 55.00 that has more pork liver than the pork, and of course, Boiled Egg in Soy that costs P 10.
They are simple foodies I tell you. Add two Bananas and a bottle of Coke for P 36.00, I find it really expensive and not a good buy.. The Siomai was, and always will be compared to the foodies we had.. Hey, Jollibee 39ers is even a good buy than the dinner..  I will not tell you the source, hehehe..
