3RD MINDANAO BLOGGERS SUMMIT 2009 & PHILIPPINE BLOG AWARDS -MINDANAO

October 24, 2009, I was able to attend the 3RD MINDANAO BLOGGERS SUMMIT 2009 & the PHILIPPINE BLOG AWARDS -MINDANAO held at the Pearlmont Inn, Limketkai Drive, Cagayan de Oro City.

We had overflowing coffee the whole day...

This was what we had for lunch....

Leche Flan for dessert tasted bad.. I felt like eating scrambled egg custard... But the rest of what we had for lunch was okay...

I love this dish although I do not know what it's called... Beef is tender and the chicken below is also yummy...

I am not much of a fan of pansit/bam-i

For snacks, in the morning we had tuna sandwich and soft drink and in the afternoon we had spaghetti. The sandwich in the morning was okay, though it's kinda dry. The spaghetti is not at all delicious but, it's also not so bad...

Over all, the food was not bad at all. Thank you...

In the evening we had the Philippine Blog Awards. We had dinner before the formal opening of the blog awards.. I was able to take pictures while the food was yet untouched...

Of course, this vegetable dish had me screaming for more...

For dessert, we had Maja Blanca.. Mommy Laine, Mommy Phebie and I agreed that we had the best dessert so far.. We really enjoyed the treat...

Over all, I give two thumbs up for the food served during the Philippine Blog Awards...

I can't give them a trophy so I will just blog about how delicious they were..

COOKING IN MY BATH ROBE...

My cousin Janice gave me this yellow gold terry bath robe that I love to wear when I am at home. Doesn't care where I am or what I do. Whether I eat, sweep the floor or even when I cook, I love wearing it. How did I ever become addicted to wearing robes while I lounge around the house? Well, it all started when Janice gave me the pink waffle bath robe and the powder blue towel wrap three years ago. Since then, I live in the robes.. lol..

So here I am preparing Leche flan and maja blanca in my robes.. hehehe.. Well, I must tell you. For one thing, I am confident that I am alone here and that no one will say anything anyway so why bother dress? As long as I am comfortable and I love to move in comfortable robes, so it isn't really a bother...

Besides, I am happy cooking like this.. And as they say, a happy cook makes the best recipes..
