Dominggo Lauya: Easter Treat...
>> Monday, April 25, 2011
Today is Easter Sunday.. As our traditional belief, being a catholic family, we refrain from eating pork when the season of lent starts.. And we only resume eating pork and all other meats during Easter Sunday.. Easter Sunday is dubbed as Araw ng Pagkabuhay, or the day that Christ has risen. So people will proclaim, Hallelujah..
And because we can already eat pork, or beef-- The said Lauya, or soup is then called Dominggo Lauya.. That's lunch today.. followed by dessert... Buko Linabog.. yummy!
