First, I place them in a clean basin. Then I prepare all my other cleaning materials. They are as follows:
a.) used toothbrush
b.) knife
c.) chopping board
d.) running water
e.) forceps
Now we proceed with the "HOW TO"...
1.) Pick one crab at a time using forceps to hold the crab under running water.
2.) Then, forceps on one hand, hold the knife on the other... let the crab rest on the chopping board, then stab the crab in the mid portion and put it under running water again holding with the knife.

3.) Brush the crab using the toothbrush. Make sure that all dirt and grime accumulated in the crab's body is brushed off while running it under running water...
4.) When the crab is cleaned, take off the "butt covering" and cut the crab in half..
5.) Place the clean crab in the marinade (this is how I do it according to my special recipe...)
6.) when all the crabs are all clean and prepared accordingly, they are then prepared for cooking---
And that's just about it... Point is, clean crabs are more delicious than the ones that are strangely dirty... wink..wink..
Oh, and after it is cooked, presentation or plating is another thing that one needs to look into...
