October 24 is my father's birthday. Last year we had a simple family gathering. We had ordered the usual Lechon, the National Food of The Philippines, and of course there were sweets and all other recipes my mother and sisters cooked. I was busy with the day's activities both in Marymount and at Honeysweet Learning Center that I did not have time to help them out in the kitchen. So I decided to buy the birthday cake instead... However, when I reached home, the two kids, Lili and River, who were so excited of the preparations asked me what I brought with me so I told them that it was their gift to TATAY... lol, and all the more they became excited, they started singing the happy birthday song with only the repeated happy birthday lyrics...lol... it was so funny and I found it so cute, I decided to have their acts on video... sadly, I can not share the video because it's too large a file...
